Open Hui Yi Ba (https://huiyiba.com) and follow the steps below to leave a memory, reconnect with old friends, or browse information others recorded here across the years.
Three steps
- 1Slide the blue year bar to the year you want to remember.
- 2Pan the map until the yellow crosshair points to where the story happened (stars mark existing message boxes).
- 3Sign in, tap “Leave message here”, enter names and your story; if names are forgotten, use time+event pairing and pick event types, then submit.
How to reconnect with old friends
Through time, place, people, and events, you can reach friends you've lost touch with for years. If they also care and leave a message at the same place and year, you may meet again in the same message box. Whether school, work, parties, travel, love, or life moments — if you still care, leave a record here. When you get names right for both sides or multiple parties (forgotten names are fine), and time and events roughly match, the site hints “might know each other”; if they agree, you can message privately. You can also make messages public, or schedule public/destroy times.
Living history of this place
Another warm feature: see what happened here in a given year — living local history. Words and photos people left stay in message boxes on the map for that year and spot. Change the year and move the map to read real stories from that time.
Privacy & visibility
Messages are stored encrypted; no one may see them without the author’s permission. Public, hidden, private-only, scheduled public or destroy, and whether to appear at random in home-page “Public memories” are all chosen when you post or anytime in Member Center. We strictly respect the intent of every piece of information you publish.
